The majority of Michael’s work is serious offending before the criminal court. He also regularly appears before the Family Court. Michael is an accredited Youth Advocate and often represents minors before the Youth Court.

Background

Over the years, Michael has been involved in complicated trial matters involving allegations of murder, attempted murder, rape, fraud, blackmail and other serious offences.

Michael also draws upon the experience and insight gained as a prosecutor for the Bar Council of England and Wales, which has proven invaluable to his work as a defence lawyer in New Zealand.
